Hello dear friends! I'm back!

Hello everyone!  I know you are as excited as I am that I am back to writing to you.  Well then, let's get this party started! WOOOO!!!  I'm sorry, I have no idea where that came from.

Okay first of all, Will and I had a talk and have decided to make this blog a travel and family adventure blog.  We don't want to only focus on certain places and/or locations, Disney World, I am talking about Disney World.  We will be talking
about Disney things but we will also write about other travel locations.  We both have a big love for the National Park Service and its locations.  I personally have a goal to get us to all of the National Parks...well let's start with the Continental United States, then I will try my hardest to talk Will into going to those more remote parks.  We will also be writing about our camping adventures, because why not?

I have always loved to travel, but that is because my parents believe in the value of adventuring.  Adventuring brings about the thirst for knowledge and the love of learning.  That sounds redundant, but as a teacher I promise those are very different.  Adventuring can also cultivate the want to experience new things and dig deeper into experiences already had.  That's what I want for Will and our son both, I want them to see the fantastic things I have been so blessed to have seen while simultaneously getting to experience new wonders as a family.

We will be covering so much, fun and maybe not so fun adventures.  We will talk about our camper, and how we travel with it, you know, tips and tricks we use.  We will also be talking about non-camper adventures and how the tips and tricks differ.  We will talk about our favorite places, not so favorite places, food, fun, frolic, and more.  RV travels, car trips, destinations where we fly, and so on.  Playlists for the road, movies to watch for build up to the trip, books to read to get ready, podcasts and YouTubers and more!

So my dear readers and friends, I hope this finds you well.  I hope we ignite the longing for travel, the want of adventure, and the trill of family fun.

Love always,

The Bradleys of Bradley Family Fun Time

Sooo, what's your favorite park?

I can't tell you how often my husband, Will and I get asked "What's your favorite park?", but we love answering it!  Will will always say Magic Kingdom, I on the other hand, well, it is harder for me to answer.  As a preteen until my mid 20s I would always say MGM (Hollywood Studios for those who aren't seasoned Disney World goers) but as an adult (and after MGM was changed so much they had to change the name of the park) I would probably say EPCOT.  I don't drink but I do love food😂.   Please understand, these are our favorite parts of the 4 main parks, however we love each of them and I am about to tell you our favorite parts of each one.

Magic Kingdom (Will's favorite)

Will's favorites:

Experience: Walking down Main Street USA

Ride: He has three 😁

Meribeth's Favorites:

This was a fun post to write because Will and I loved hearing Emmett's answers, out of the mouth of babes and what not.  We truly love our time and times at Walt Disney World, we especially love to tell people about them.

Where My Disneyness All Began

My name is Meribeth and I am a Disney freak!  There it is, I said it out loud!  Okay, so everyone I know is already very aware that I am a Disney buff, freak or whatever adjective would best describe someone who is obsessed with all things Disney.  OBSESSED, that's it!  That's the word!  Call it what you will but I love it!  And my friends, I can honestly blame my mother for this one! Picture it, a farm in Tennessee (oh that's where I am from), a beautiful young girl...oops sorry, my inner Golden Girls came out for a second.  But seriously it really does all start with my mom.

My Mom grew up on a farm with plenty of wonderful memories but not a lot of money, so travel was not something that happened very often.  My Mom talks about going to town being a big deal, a single Hershey bar being a memorable treat from a favorite aunt, and so many things that we all would take for granted these days.  They lived with her grandparents for a while and they had a TV set where she saw the Mickey Mouse Club (at one point I even knew all of the songs for each day of the week) and on the rare occasions that she was sick or some other reason prevented her family from going to church on Sunday night she got to watch her most favorite show "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color".  She talks about loving seeing Tinker Bell in her different hats and listening to Walt Disney talk about whatever the subject was for that episode.  Later she loved seeing (again when she could)

Walt Disney talk about building Disneyland!

Disneyland became her dream location, and during the summer between her junior and senior years of high school she made her dream become a reality!  (Please insert "You Can Fly" or maybe "When You Wish Upon A Star" here, you pick, either would work.)  Using her winnings from showing animals in 4H shows, she went on a trip with the Future Homemakers of America to the National Convention in California. This is already a long post so we will jump to the best day of her trip, their day at Disneyland!  Mom talks about it like walking into the Emerald City.  I can picture her crying at the sight of the castle, seeing Small World, and getting to ride things she had only dreamed of doing.  She still has what's left of her ticket book, the A Tickets were used of course.  From then on she was hooked and the rest is history!

As you can see I have a very solid case as to why I blame my mother 😂.  I love all things Disney and thanks to my mother, we (practically my entire family) have gotten to experience so much Disney.  I have been able to experience the magic by going to Walt Disney World in Florida (more times than I can actually count, remember we are not Floridians), Disneyland, Adventures By Disney, Disneyland Paris and Disney Cruise Line.  But my very favorite magical Disney experience is and will always be getting married in at the Walt Disney World Wedding Pavilion (I will write about that later 😁)!  I am a Disney Planner through the Mickey World Travel company, which is great because my husband and I love to talk all things Disney with anyone who will listen.

So that's it, that is the reason it all started!  I thank my mother all the time!  My husband and I love going when we can and now we get to take our son!  Be on the lookout for more Blog posts about our favorite Disney experiences!
